This is possibly the most scary story I heard as a kid. It was originally aired on July 11, 1980 so I was 8 years old at the time. The nightmare that ensued after listening to this about ghosts horrified me nightly for a few weeks. “I WANT MY BABY” echoed through my dreams as I was trying to help the ghost but as I finally found the baby I was killed and became a ghost with the mother. Scary for an 8 year old.
